The PRIMA 2018 Annual Conference sped into the Indianapolis Convention Center with an incredible group of attendees, sponsors and exhibitors. Held June 3-6, 2018, it is known as the leading event for public risk management professionals and provides a unique opportunity for attendees to connect with and learn from peers and thought leaders from inside the industry. Praxis representatives Gina Bradburn, Lifto Braja and Philip Meyerdierks joined more than 1,200 public risk management colleagues and experts for an exceptional learning and networking opportunity in its own backyard of Indy. More than 55 classroom sessions offered enlightening topics with dynamic presenters. Fleet/Risk Management” presented by Steve Hightower and "Don't Let Your Claims Manage You" presented by Jason Olsen and Eva LaBonte were two that stood out, talking about the value of investigation and subrogation to the risk management community.
As an exhibitor, the best part of any conference is the networking time, scheduled and spontaneous, to meet with colleagues, clients, prospective clients and other specialty providers who are ready with products and services geared to make the work of public sector risk managers more efficient and cost-effective. The opening social by PRIMA was a lot of fun with dueling pianos and the opportunity to contribute to an art installment that Munich RE will be donating to the Indianapolis children's hospital. Praxis - sponsored ‘Welcome Social’ on Monday night at St Elmo's Steak House was a fun evening shared with new friends and an exciting surprise… unbeknownst coincided with the filming of a Man vs Food episode! The Praxis team enjoyed meeting many representatives from across the country that are working to improve their risk assessment and learn from each other. The three days left us energized and excited to use our new knowledge in support of our clients and communities!
